Accountability

The January 1, 2012 Charter of the City of Detroit  Declaration of Rights #5 indicates that “The City’s police forces are in all cases and at all times in strict subordination to the civil power.” It is the right and responsibility of Detroiters to hold the Detroit Police Department accountable.
